Automation Engineer

Job description

  • Configure, program, test, and commission RTU and PLC systems.
  • Design, configure, and test HMI and SCADA software.

Required qualification

  • SIMATIC or SICAM knowledge is required.
  • Technical education in automation, electronics, electrical engineering, or telecommunication (engineer diploma required).
  • English or German – minimum B1 level required, other foreign languages are a plus.
  • Knowledge of other Siemens technologies is an advantage.

Secondary Circuits Design Engineer

Job description

  • Based on the contractual scope of supply and functionality, lead and coordinate secondary circuits engineering design projects:
    • preparation of control and protection circuits;
    • design of electrical panels (protection, control, and communication);
    • logic and interlocking diagrams;
    • simple short circuit calculations;
    • AC/DC load calculations;
    • preparation of material lists;
    • function charts (PLC logic) of the protection relays;
    • develop design software library.
  • Prepare secondary engineering documentation for factory use in the manufacture and assembly of HV & MV switchgear as well as LV boards.
  • Prepare detailed documentation to facilitate procurement of equipment and components.
  • Prepare as-built primary and secondary engineering documentation for the customer, based on the data received from the QA/QC test bay and/or client.

Required qualification

  • Good knowledge of Eplan, EDSA, ORCAD, or ELCAD.
  • Advanced experience in electronics, power engineering or automation.
  • Technical education in automation, electronics, electrical engineering, or telecommunication (engineer diploma required).
  • English or German – minimum B1 level required, other foreign languages are a plus.
  • MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • ANRE – IIIA degree will be an advantage.
